I mentioned in a previous post that I order several Chanel products when Strawberrynet had a makeup sale recently. I still didn't get everything I ordered (even though the Dior products I ordered around the same time have arrived already), but I did get the mirror and the lip stick I ordered, so I will be reviewing both of those shortly.
Beauty products reviewed. Many beauty tips and beauty reviews that will help you when you buy make up, skin care and more yourself.

I'm a girl who loves beauty products, even though I haven't always been very keen on them, so I decided to start a beauty blog, where I share beauty product reviews with others and tell you about both the worst and best beauty products out there, according to me.
I'm also hoping it will make beauty and makeup more fun, even for those who are not beauty addicts already.

My Dior lip products have arrived!
I mentioned a while ago that I went a bit crazy at the Strawberrynet make up sale recently. Now the first of the products I ordered have arrived: The Dior lip products I ordered. (I ordered some of the stuff separately, since I would have had to pay a lot of tax for the stuff otherwise)
I've already tried the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer (read my review of it here), but the Dior Addict Lip Glow was a new accquaintance for me, so I will be reviewing it shortly.

Shopped: What I got at the Strawberrynet makeup sale
Strawberrynet, a site for beauty products that has quite awesome prices normally, had a great sale on makeup during the last week, so of course I couldn't resist picking up some products I had been curious about for a while. There was a lot of good stuff on offer, since their makeup sale was for all their makeup products, but I ended up getting this:
A Chanel Double Facettes mirror. Always handy, since I am currently using only one mirror for makeup, a really old Marc Jacobs one (you know, the heart shaped ones), and another one could come in really handy, since I could carry it with me to work and stuff. An isn't a pocket Chanel mirror the most glamourous kind of pocket mirror you can find?
A Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Balm. Because I always seem to need lip balm, and making it a bit more glamourous with a Chanel one can't be a bad thing! (I just hope it's actually good too)
Another Chanel lip product, something called the Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine, in the color Candeur. Because I like pink, sheer lip products that look just like this!
The Dior Addict Lip Maximizer. Because I've tried it, and really liked it, before. (Read why) So obviously I need another one!
The Dior Addict Color Awakening Lip Balm. Because I figured I might like this one too, if I'm such a huge fan of the Lip Maximizer. The only thing that could be slightly tricky about this is that I don't know what color my lips will turn with this (it varies from person to person, you see), since I haven't had a chance to try it, so it was a bit of a risky purchase, but let's hope it will be okay!
A YSL Volupte Sheer Candy lipstick.
The one I got was in the color Juicy Grapefruit, a shade I've tried and really liked before though, but they don't seem to have that shade in stock anymore, so I can't find a pic of the right product. The one in the pic is called Dewy Papaya. But I'll take some pics when I recieve this instead!
I'm really happy with my order, it turned out to be a very good mix of old favorites that I love, and some new products that I have been wanting to try for a while. What more can you ask for?

Latest beauty buys
I recently ordered a mascara (my favorite: Lancome's L'Extreme) from Strawberrynet and they were kind enough to send me not only one present, but two, with the mascara itself. So I ended up getting the mascara itself, a Calvin Klein lipstick as well as a Max Wear lipcolor by Max Factor, all for the price of one mascara.
I am really looking forward to trying these products out, I've never tried Calvin Klein cosmetics before and as far as Max Factor goes, all I've ever tried from them is like a concealer or a foundation or something, and that was like 10 years ago. So it will be really interesting to see what their products are like too!

Finding beauty products and make up cheaper: A guide to Ebay
While I love beauty products and make up, I find that many products, especially from the better known brands, can often be quite expensive. This is why I have come up with several ways to find these products for cheaper. I buy things online, in online stores like Strawberrynet, I buy stuff in tax free stores on airports when I travel, but most of all; I try to find the products I like on Ebay.
I am a huge fan of Ebay otherwise too, and I buy everything from clothes, shoes and books there, but I have found that Ebay is especially convenient when you want to buy small things, such as beauty products, because the shipping costs are really low, and often even free, no matter where you live in the world.
Another great thing is that you can find pretty much anything on Ebay, so no matter if you like luxury brands like Chanel or Dior, or more unknown brands, you will be able to find everything you could ever want here.
There are some things you should keep in mind however, when you shop on Ebay, especially if you buy cosmetics and beauty products, in order to really get good deals and not end up with bad products, so here are some tips I have learned along the way while shopping on Ebay, regarding this:
Always check the size
This is something that can be rather tricky, because a lot of products that may seem cheap on Ebay, are actually not. Instead, you are getting a very small version of the product, and not the full size. This can even be the case even if the picture in the auction in question is of a full size product, it could still say somewhere in the description that it is actually a travel size or trial size. So always make sure you understand what size you are getting, so you don’t end up paying too much for a really small product!
If you want to compare the prizes on Ebay to the prices for the same product in your local store or in an online store, also make sure you compare the prices for the same size, since most products are available in several different sizes.
Check if the product has an expiration date
As you are probably already aware of, a lot of beauty products and cosmetics have expiration dates. You do not want to buy old products or products that are about to expire very soon, since you might not have time to use them before the expiration date, and products that are too old, could easily give you allergies or a rash or something. So always read the description to find information about expiration dates, and if no information is available, send a message to the seller to ask about it. Better safe than sorry!
Look out for fakes
Not a very common problem when it comes to cosmetics, but there are plenty of fakes out there when it comes to fragrances, so if you are thinking of buying any fragrances at all, keep this in mind.
Check the seller’s feedback
This is the best way to make sure you are dealing with a reputable seller. I personally only buy from sellers who have over 99 % positive feedback from previous customers, and I also prefer sellers who have previously sold the exact product I am interested in or at least other products from the same brand. Most sellers on Ebay are okay, but sadly, there are some crooks out there too. So its always best to check these things carefully to be on the safe side!
