I've tried Kava Kava products for blonde hair before (read my reviews here, here and here), and I loved them, so when I spotted some other Kava Kava products in a store that seemed to suit my hair type, I thought there would surely be no harm in trying those too.
That's how the Kava Kava Rescue Shampoo, along with a hair mask from the same range, ended up in my bathroom.
And I am happy to report that this Kava Kava shampoo is just as lovely as the other one I've tried. It has a very unusual pink color, that makes the shampoo look really cool and different (I'm such a sucker for those kinds of things!), and the scent is amazing too!
It also lathers really well, so you don't need to use a lot of shampoo to get your hair clean, and the packaging is chic but also original, so I pretty much love everything about this shampoo!
I think Kava Kava is definitely one of the better hair care brands that I've tried in a long, long time, and I will definitely buy both this shampoo, as well as all the other products by them that I've tried already again! They're just that good, even though the brand is still fairly unknown! But sometimes it really pays off to try some lesser known brands, Kava Kava is perfect proof of that!
If Kava Kava is not sold where you live, I see you can quite often find their products, including this shampoo, I believe, on Ebay.

I'm a girl who loves beauty products, even though I haven't always been very keen on them, so I decided to start a beauty blog, where I share beauty product reviews with others and tell you about both the worst and best beauty products out there, according to me.
I'm also hoping it will make beauty and makeup more fun, even for those who are not beauty addicts already.

Review: Kava Kava shampoo for dry and damaged hair
I tried the Kava Kava shampoo and hair mask for blonde hair a while ago, and was really pleased with both products, so when I saw that Kava Kava also makes a similar set for dry and damaged hair, which is not a very far off description of my own hair (well, it's not so damaged, but dry for sure!), I really wanted to try the Kava Kava shampoo and hair mask for dry and damaged hair too.
And I have to say that these products are really good as well! They don't look as cool as the purple Kava Kava products for blonde hair, but looks aren't everything, and they do work wonders!
This shampoo doesn't really have a very distinctive scent, but I don't really mind that, since the hair mask, that I always use after the shampoo (but more about the mask in a separate post) smells quite nice.
The shampoo is hydroganic and organic as well, and is cruelty free, which is very important to me these days, when choosing a shampoo, so I can't really think of anything bad at all to say about this shampoo. Especially since it's available in really big bottles too (that's the kind I got myself)!
Highly recommended, I will definitely be buying this again. The only problem is, I can't decide if I like this shampoo or the Kava Kava shampoo for blonde hair better. So I guess I will just have to alternate between the two... Oh, well!
If you're interested in reading more about this shampoo, I recommend Kava Kava's own website, where they have a description of it as well.

Review: Kava Kava Hydroganic Blonde Shampoo
As you may know if you've been reading this blog for a while, I have been looking for really good shampoos, conditioners and hair masks for my thick, long and rather problematic hair for a while. The hunt hasn't been going so well, especially since I decided I would only go for shampoos and hair products that have not been tested on animals, which limits the choice way more than you would think.
But I ran into the brand Kava Kava and their range for blondes at a local store recently, and decided to give them a try, since they do not test on animals, the products are sodium chloride free and the shampoo basically said it would help me with the issues I have been having, mainly making the hair less dry and more manageable.
And I was actually rather pleased with this shampoo, it looks supercool when you open the bottle first of all, since it's bright purple in color. I've never seen that with any shampoo before, and it really does make the shampoo a bit more fun to use!
It also did seem to do my hair some good, it does feel quite nice after I wash it with this shampoo.
The only complaint I have about Kava Kava is that they don't have a conditioner, so I am forced to use this shampoo with a hair mask each time (I prefer to use coordinating products like that, since I kind of believe they are designed to work together). But for everyone who can do without a conditioner, this is a great choice indeed!
I just started using this shampoo, though, so it will be interesting to see if you see any special long term results if I continue to use this for a bit longer. I hope so, because I was rather impressed with the initial results!
